FIND YOUR COUNTY'S EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM
Sign Up Where You Live, Work, and Play
Each county has an emergency alert system that allows them to send alerts to people based on their address. In the Portland-Vancouver Region, we call these systems "PublicAlerts." If you live, work, and play in multiple counties, sign up in each county's system. Enter an address below (or click on the map) to get started.
About These Alerts
This website (PublicAlerts.org) and the State of Oregon’s website (ORAlert.gov) are tools that help direct people to their county’s emergency alert systems. These alerts are available for anyone. You don't need to live here to sign up for these local alerts. Personal information is kept secure and private. The service is free, but message and data rates may apply depending on your phone provider. Texting your zip code to 888777 will not work in the Portland-Vancouver Region, but it might work in some other parts of Oregon and Washington.
